Removal - Pt-27 Only

Fold rear seats forward and remove screw attaching check strap. on each side of vehicle. See Fig 1.

2 - ATTACHING SCREW
Remove latch covers. (Refer to BODY/SEATS/REAR SEAT LATCH COVERS - REMOVAL) .
Fold seat back down and then roll forward to access rear seat latch latching devises. See Fig 2.

1 - LATCHING DEVICE
To disengage latching devise, rock latching devise rearward and install a rod into the hole to support latching devise in the open position. See Fig 3.

1 - ROD
With both latches in the open position the seat may be removed. See Fig 4.

1 - LATCH(S)
Remove latches, if necessary. Remove attaching bolts and remove latch. See Fig 5.
