Liftgate Support Rod: Removal

Release liftgate latch and open liftgate.
Support liftgate on a suitable lifting device in the full open position.
Pull liftgate opening weatherstrip from D-pillar flange next to prop assembly end pivot.
Remove bolt attaching end pivot to D-pillar. See Fig 1.
Remove bolt attaching prop assembly to liftgate.
Remove prop assembly from vehicle.
