Accessory Switch Bezel: Removal

NOTE: The accessory switches are serviced separately, but the cigar lighter/power outlet is not. See Fig 1.

1 - ACCESSORY SWITCH BEZEL

Open hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable. See Fig 2.

Remove the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER BEZEL .
Remove two screws retaining the accessory switch bezel. See Fig 3.

Disconnect the harness connectors to the following. See Fig 4:
1. Rear Window Defogger Switch (if equipped)
2. Traction Control Switch (if equipped)
3. Cigar Lighter/Power Outlet
4. Rear Windshield Washer/Wiper Switch

To remove switches from bezel, use both thumbs and slightly pull out on the two walls that are holding the switches. See Fig 5.
