Hood Latch Release Cable: Removal

  1. Remove hood latch.
  2. Disconnect remote hood release cable from hood latch. See Figure.
  3. Remove left front cowl trim panel.
  4. Remove screws attaching hood release handle to cowl panel.
  5. Disconnect rubber grommet from dash panel behind instrument panel.
  6. Pull release cable through hole in dash panel.
  7. Remove cable and handle from vehicle.
