Rail Seals-Front And Center: Removal

  1. Before removing the seal assemblies determine the correct number of shims that will be needed when installing the new seal assemblies. Count the existing number of shims used in each position.
  2. Adhere tape to the side glass and mark the position of each seal in the fore/aft and up/down direction. This step is critical for repositioning the new seals
  3. Remove the old seal and retainer assemblies.
