Folding Top Cover Assembly: Removal

Open the folding top to half position that each area is able to access. See Fig 1.

Unscrew 12 screws to remove Canopy from front header. See Fig 2.
Remove canopy adhesive tape from the front header edges.
Remove tension cable with two spring clips on each side. See Fig 3 and Fig 4.

Fold the canopy back to the B-Bow. See Fig 5.
Unscrew nine screws to remove the headliner from the front header.
Remove five screws from each bow strip. See Fig 6.

Remove the headliner attachments (elastic straps) from the folding top frame.
Remove C-Post flaps from the C-Post stamping (two expanding two rivets per side).

Remove screws from the floating bow to detach the headliner. See Fig 7.

Remove the headliner extrusion profile from the backlite frame. See Fig 8.
Remove five screws from the edge bow strip. See Fig 9.
The headliner is now loose. Store it in a clean place.
Detach the hook and loop strips from the framework. See Fig 10.

Detach the rear window defogger wire connectors from the rear window defogger pigtails (1 per side) and pull them through the wire slings.
Open the C-Post seal and drill the four rivets out.
The C-Post seal gets loose together with the seal retainer and the canopy cover itself.
