Brake Junction Block: Installation

  1. Install the junction block with mounting bracket onto the lower radiator support. Install and tighten the mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Install the 4 chassis brake tubes (going to each brake) to the junction block. Tighten the tube fittings to specification with the aid of a crow foot wrench. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the 2 brake tubes coming from the primary and secondary master cylinder ports to the top rear corners of the junction block. Tighten the tube fittings to specification with the aid of a crow foot wrench. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  4. Install the air cleaner housing.
  5. Remove the brake pedal holding tool.
  6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
  7. Bleed the base brake system. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM .


  1. Install the junction block with mounting bracket onto the lower radiator support. Install and tighten the mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

  4. Install the air cleaner housing.
  5. Remove the brake pedal holding tool.
  6. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
