Diagnostic Procedure

BUS LOW - SDARS - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Disconnect the Satellite Radio Multiplexor harness connectors.
Disconnect the Radio harness connectors.
Measure the resistance to ground on the SDAR Audio Bus circuit at the Radio harness connector.
Was the resistance below 5 ohms?
  1. Yes: Repair the short to ground in the SDARS Bus circuit.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Go To 2
 All
2 Disconnect the Satellite Radio Multiplexor harness connectors.
Disconnect the Satellite Radio Receiver harness connectors.
Measure the resistance to ground on the SDAR Audio Bus circuit at the Radio harness connector.
Was the resistance below 5 ohms?
  1. Yes: Repair short to ground in the (X481B) SDARS bus circuit.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Test Complete.
