Diagnostic Procedure

BUS BUSY - SDARS (EARLY BUILD VEHICLES ONLY) - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Disconnect the Satellite Radio Multiplexor harness connectors.
Disconnect the Radio harness connectors.
Measure the voltage on the SDAR Audio Bus circuit at the Radio harness connector.
Was the voltage higher than 5 volts?
  1. Yes: Repair short to voltage in the SDARS Bus circuit.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Go To 2
 All
2 Disconnect the Satellite Radio Multiplexor harness connectors.
Disconnect the Satellite Radio Receiver harness connectors.
With the DRBIII® lab scope measure the voltage on the SDAR Audio Bus circuit at the Radio harness connector.
Was the voltage higher than 5 volts?
  1. Yes: Repair short to voltage in the SDARS bus circuit.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Test Complete.
