ANTENNA NOT CONNECTED - SDARS - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

| 1 | Disconnect the Satellite Radio Antenna connector. Disconnect the Satellite Receiver Module connector. Measure the resistance of the Terrestrial Signal circuit between the Satellite Radio Antenna connector and Satellite Receiver Module connector. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

| 2 | Disconnect the Satellite Radio Antenna connector. Disconnect the Satellite Receiver Module connector. Measure the resistance between ground and the Terrestrial Signal circuit. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

| 3 | Disconnect the Satellite Radio Antenna connector. Disconnect the Satellite Receiver Module connector. Measure the resistance of the Satellite Signal circuit between the Satellite Radio Antenna connector and Satellite Receiver Module connector. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

| 4 | Disconnect the Satellite Radio Antenna connector. Disconnect the Satellite Receiver Module connector. Measure the resistance between ground and the Satellite Signal circuit. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

| 5 | Turn the ignition off. Check the antenna for physical damage. Disconnect the Satellite Antenna harness connector. Disconnect the Satellite Receiver harness connector.
NOTE:
Before Continuing: Disconnect the Satellite Receiver and the Satellite Antenna harness connectors and check the related wiring terminals for corrosion, damage or terminal push out. Repair as necessary. Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wire harness and connectors. Pay particular attention to all Power and Ground circuits. Replace the Satellite Antenna in accordance with service information. Turn the ignition and the radio on. Does the DTC return?

NOTE:
Before Continuing: Disconnect the Satellite Receiver harness connector and check the related wiring terminals for corrosion, damage or terminal push out. Repair as necessary. Using the schematics as a guide, inspect the wire harness and connectors. Pay particular attention to all Power and Ground circuits.If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair.
