Diagnostic Procedure

RIGHT TURN SIGNAL INDICATOR OPEN - BCM - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.
Turn the ignition on.
Measure the voltage between the Right Turn Signal circuit and ground.
Is the voltage below 5.0 volts?
  1. Yes: Replace the Instrument Cluster in accordance with the Service Information.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Go To 2

2 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the BCM C4 harness connector.
Disconnect the Instrument Cluster harness connector.
Measure the resistance of the Right Turn Signal circuit.
Is the resistance above 5.0 ohms?
  1. Yes: Repair the Right Turn Signal circuit for an open.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Replace the BCM in accordance with the Service Information.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .
