Diagnostic Procedure

PDM MESSAGES NOT RECEIVED - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIII®, attempt to communicate with the Passenger Door Module.
Was the DRBIII® able to I/D or communicate with the PDM?
  1. Yes: Go To 2
  2. No: Refer to the COMMUNICATION  for the related symptom(s).

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

2 With the DRBIII®, erase DTC's.
Cycle the ignition switch from off to on, operate the door locks from the passenger's door and wait approximately 1 minute.
With the DRBIII®, read DTC's.
Did this DTC reset?
  1. Yes: Replace the module which set the DTC in accordance with the service information.

    Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 .

  2. No: Test Complete.
