*NO RESPONSE FROM INTEGRATED POWER MODULE - DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

| 1 | Turn the ignition on. With the DRBIII®, enter Body then Body Computer. Was the DRBIII® able to I/D or communicate with the BCM?

| 2 | Turn the ignition off. Gain access to the underside of the IPM. Using a 12-volt test light connected to ground, probe the Fused B(+) circuit (large positive terminal under the IPM). Is the test light illuminated?

| 3 | Turn the ignition off. Disconnect the IPM C5 harness connector. Using a 12-volt test light connected to 12-volts, probe the Ground circuit. Is the test light illuminated?

NOTE:
Ensure there is PCI Bus communication with other modules on the vehicle before proceeding. If not, SYMPTOM LIST from the menu and repair as necessary. Turn the ignition off.Disconnect the negative battery cable.Disconnect the IPM C4 harness connector.Disconnect the DRBIII® from the DLC.Measure the resistance of the PCI Bus circuit between the IPM C4 connector and the DLC.Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
