Compass/Mini-Trip Computer (SEBRING Convertible)

Press and hold US/M and STEP buttons while turning ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. This will cycle an electronic display segment check. All VF display segments will light. Upon completion of internal self-diagnostics, one of 5 messages will be displayed:

1. PASS
   
   Indicates CMTC is operating properly.
2. FAIL
   
   Repeat test. If FAIL is displayed again, replace CMTC. See COMPASS/MINI-TRIP COMPUTER (SEBRING CONVERTIBLE)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
3. BUS
   
   Not receiving messages from Single Board Engine Controller and Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2002) or BODY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2003).
4. BUS 1
   
   Not receiving messages from Single Board Engine Controller. See BODY CONTROL MODULES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2002) or BODY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2003).
5. BUS 2
   
   Not receiving messages from Body Control Module (BCM). See BODY CONTROL MODULES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2002) or BODY DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURES - SEBRING CONVERTIBLE, SEBRING SEDAN & STRATUS SEDAN (2003).

If any segment is not illuminated during electronic display segment check, replace CMTC. See COMPASS/MINI-TRIP COMPUTER (SEBRING CONVERTIBLE)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
