Red Brake Warning Indicator Lamp

Possible Causes
- Parking brake lever not fully released.
- Parking brake warning lamp switch on parking brake lever.
- Brake fluid level low in reservoir.
- Brake fluid level switch.
- Mechanical Instrument Cluster (MIC) problem.
- ABS EVIC malfunction.
Correction
- Release parking brake lever.
- Inspect and replace switch as necessary.
- Fill reservoir. Check entire system for leaks. Repair or replace as required.
- Disconnect switch wiring connector. If lamp goes out, replace switch.
