Parking Brake Cable TENSIONER: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Remove the parking brake tensioner adjuster nut, releasing the tensioner from the equalizer bracket to the intermediate cable. See Fig 1 .
  3. Disconnect the connector and remove the parking brake cable tensioner from the left rear parking brake cable. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove the parking brake cable tensioner with its isolator from the vehicle.
