Removal (Rear)

- Raise and support the vehicle.
- Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.
- Remove rear caliper. See CALIPER .
- Remove rear rotor. See ROTOR .
- Remove the outboard brake shoe, by prying brake shoe retaining clip over raised area on caliper and sliding the shoe off the caliper. See Fig 1 .
- Pull inboard shoe away from piston, until the retaining clip is free from the cavity in the piston. See Fig 2 .
