Monitored & Set Conditions

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Circuit is monitored with engine running. DTC will set if the knock sensor circuit voltage falls to less than a minimum value at idle or deceleration. The minimum value is from a look-up table internal to PCM and is based on engine speed. DTC will also set if sensor output is greater than 5.0 volts.
