Monitored & Set Conditions

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Coolant temperature is monitored with engine running. The PCM predicts a coolant temperature value that it compares to the actual coolant temperature. If the 2 coolant temperature values are not within 10°F of each other, DTC will set. DTC is a two trip fault.
