Monitored & Set Conditions

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

System is monitored with the engine running and no MAP sensor or TPS DTCs set. Engine speed must be greater than 1600 RPM. The PCM determines a valid range in which the TP Sensor should be under a given RPM/Load. The actual TP Sensor voltage is then compared to this value. If the TP Sensor voltage does not fall within the expected range within a predetermined amount of time, DTC will set. DTC is a one trip fault.
