DTC P0070 is monitored with engine running. DTC will set if after 4 warm-up cycles, the PCM did not see a 35°F change in the Ambient Temperature Sensor voltage within 200 miles. DTC is a two trip fault. DTC P0071 is monitored when engine off time is greater than 480 minutes and ambient temperature is greater than 39°F (4°C). DTC will set if after a calibrated amount of cool down time, the Ambient Temperature Sensor is not within 10°F of the Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor and the Intake Air Temperature Sensor. DTC is a two trip fault.
