Harsh Engagement From Neutral To Drive

Possible cause: defective torque converter, engine idle speed too high, loose or broken engine mounts, excessive driveline backlash, PCM software not up to date (check for TSBs that may apply), quick-learn procedure performed incorrectly, hydraulic pressures too high, poor engine performance, valve body malfunction or leakage, worn or damaged accumulator seal rings, worn or faulty low-reverse clutch or worn or faulty underdrive clutch.
