Torque Converter Diagnosis

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
CAUTION: Manufacturer does not recommend performing torque converter stall speed test on 42LE transaxle. Torque converter is a welded assembly and is not serviceable. If a malfunction occurs or if torque converter becomes contaminated with foreign material, it must be replaced. It cannot be flushed or repaired.
