Reverse Clutch Pressure Test

  1. Remove pressure tap plug and install pressure gauge in reverse clutch pressure tap. See Figure. Place gearshift lever in Reverse.
  2. Apply brakes. Accelerate until engine speed is 1500 RPM. Reverse clutch pressure should be 165-235 psi (11.6-16.5 kg/cm2 ). This pressure test checks reverse clutch hydraulic circuit. Remove pressure gauge. Install and tighten pressure tap plug to 53 INCH lbs. (6.0 N.m).
