Reverse Clutch Pressure Test

- Remove pressure tap plug and install pressure gauge in reverse clutch pressure tap. See Figure. Place gearshift lever in Reverse.
- Apply brakes. Accelerate until engine speed is 1500 RPM. Reverse clutch pressure should be 165-235 psi (11.6-16.5 kg/cm2 ). This pressure test checks reverse clutch hydraulic circuit. Remove pressure gauge. Install and tighten pressure tap plug to 53 INCH lbs. (6.0 N.m).
