2-4 Clutch Pressure Test

  1. Remove pressure tap plug and install pressure gauge in 2-4 clutch pressure tap. See Figure.
  2. Place gearshift lever in "OD" position. Allowing front wheels to rotate, accelerate until vehicle speed indicates 30 MPH. Transaxle should be in Overdrive.
  3. The 2-4 clutch pressure should be 75-95 psi (5.3-6.7 kg/cm2 ). This pressure test checks 2-4 clutch hydraulic circuit. Remove pressure gauge. Install and tighten pressure tap plug to 53 INCH lbs. (6.0 N.m).
