Test Preparation

Remove valve body. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in appropriate SERVICING article in AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSIONS. Install Adapter Plates (6599-1 and 6599-2) on transaxle case. See Figure.

CAUTION: Ensure air supply is free of all dirt and moisture. Using air pressure regulator, adjust air pressure to 30 psi (2.1 kg/cm2 ).
