Circuit Description

DTC P1684 will set if PCM is disconnected from battery power B+ or ground. DTC will also set during scan tool quick battery disconnect procedure. DTC data will be lost. Vehicle will go into immediate limp-in mode if power is lost while operating the vehicle. Normal operation is resumed if the power is restored during the same key start. Due to the integration of the powertrain and transmission control modules, transaxle part of PCM has its own specific power and ground circuits.
