Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

DTC P0888 will set when less than 3 volts are present at transmission control relay output terminals of PCM (terminals No. 19, 28 and 38) while PCM is energizing relay. Due to the integration of the powertrain and transmission control modules, transaxle part of PCM has its own specific power and ground circuits. MIL illuminates and transaxle system defaults to limp-in mode.
