Circuit Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

TCC is modulated by controlling duty cycle of L/R solenoid until difference between engine and transaxle input speed RPM or duty cycle is within a desired range. DTC P0740 will set after 10 seconds and 3 occurrences if either FEMCC is greater than 100 RPM or PEMCC duty cycle is greater than 85 percent. EMCC will still be available after code is set. MIL will illuminate after 5 minutes of accumulated slip in FEMCC. The transaxle will attempt normal operation (no limp-in) even after the MIL is illuminated.
