Circuit Description
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
DTC P0732 will set if ratio of input RPM to output RPM does not match current gear ratio. Transaxle will not go into limp-in mode until 3 gear ratio error events occur in a given key start. MIL will illuminate after 5 minutes of substituted operation. This allows for intermittent problems to correct themselves without opening relay. However, if a gear ratio error develops, a DTC is always set, but if condition corrects itself, transaxle will continue without requiring ignition key to be cycled off and on.
