Vehicle Speed Signal

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Output speed sensor signal is also used for determining vehicle speed and delivers signal to PCM. PCM delivers vehicle speed signal across bus circuit for use by other vehicle control modules. PCM uses vehicle speed signal and throttle position sensor input to determine when a deceleration condition exists.
