Electronic Vehicle Information Center: Installation

  1. Position the EVIC module onto the overhead console housing.
  2. Install and tighten the 4 screws that secure the EVIC module to the overhead console housing. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Install the overhead console.
  4. Reconnect negative battery cable.
  5. If a new EVIC module has been installed, the compass will have to be calibrated and the variance set. See PROGRAMMING  .
