Occupant Restraint Controller (Orc): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position ORC with top arrow pointing toward front of vehicle. Using supplied NEW retaining screws, install ORC on mounting bracket. Tighten retaining screws to specification in reverse order of loosening or removal. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. DO NOT connect battery at this time. Perform air bag system check to ensure system is functioning properly. See AIR BAG SYSTEM CHECK  under SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK.
NOTE: On Concorde, instrument panel must be removed to access ORC. See INSTRUMENT PANEL  .
