Side Impact Air Bag Control Module (SIACM)

SIACM is mounted inside of B-pillars behind lower B-pillar trim panel. SIACM contains an impact sensor that verifies and determines the severity of a side impact. SIACM communicates with ORC, and if side impact of sufficient force is detected, SIACM deploys appropriate side air bag.
