Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Individual component testing is not available from manufacturer. If a Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor or wiring circuit failure exists, a DTC may be stored in the powertrain control module. See ECT sensor related diagnostic test. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE DEFINITIONS in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - CONCORDE, INTREPID & 300M article.
