Removal & Installation (2.7L)

  1. Ignition coil is mounted on valve cover and fits on top of spark plug. Ensure area around ignition coil is clean before removing. Disconnect ignition coil harness connector. Remove ignition coil retaining bolts.
  2. Remove ignition coil. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten ignition coil retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
