Removal & Installation (2.4L)

- Ignition coil is mounted on valve cover. See Fig 1. Disconnect ignition coil harness connector. Using a twisting motion, remove spark plug cables for coil. Remove ignition coil mounting bolts. Remove ignition coil from valve cover.
- To install, position ignition coil on valve cover. Install mounting bolts and tighten to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Transfer spark plug wires to new ignition coil.
