Removal & Installation (2.7L)

  1. The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located on the rear of the transaxle housing, above the differential housing. See Fig 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner.
  2. Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Remove bolt and CKP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten CKP sensor bolt.
