Removal & Installation (2.4L)

- The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located on side of cylinder block, just above oil filter. See Fig 1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle.
- Disconnect CKP sensor harness connector. Remove bolt and crankshaft position sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolt for crankshaft position sensor.
