Removal (2-Tab Fittings)

  1. Release fuel pressure from fuel system. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE .
  2. Disconnect negative battery cable. Ensure disconnect fitting and fuel lines are clean. Squeeze both tabs and pull disconnect fitting from fuel line. See Figure. Inspect components for damage. Retainer can be serviced separately from component.
