Transmission Range Sensor: Installation

- To install, reverse removal procedure using NEW transaxle oil filter "O" ring. Apply 1/8" bead of RTV sealant on oil pan sealing surfaces before installing oil pan.
- Tighten TRS retaining screw, valve body-to-transaxle case bolts and oil pan bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Add 4.0 qts. (3.8L) of Mopar ATF+4 Type 9602 fluid to transaxle. Start engine and shift transaxle through all gears and back to Park. Add additional fluid to bring fluid level to 1/8" below ADD mark on dipstick. Recheck fluid level with transaxle at normal operating temperature. Adjust fluid level so fluid level is within HOT range on dipstick.
