Removal & Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Stratus and 2002 Chrysler Sebring. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Locate input and output speed sensors threaded into the transaxle case. See Fig 1. Disconnect electrical connector of sensor to be replaced. Remove sensor. Remove and discard "O" ring from sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Use NEW "O" ring. Tighten sensor(s) to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
