Downstream Oxygen Sensor: Removal

Locate downstream oxygen sensor (1/2 or 2/2 sensor) to be removed. See Figure or Figure . Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect downstream oxygen sensor harness connector. Using Socket (YA8875), remove downstream oxygen sensor.
CAUTION:
When disconnecting the oxygen sensor connector, do not pull directly on wire going into sensor.
