Removal (2.7L)

- EGR valve is located at rear of right cylinder head. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove air cleaner assembly. Remove throttle cable shield. Loosen upper EGR tube-to-intake manifold bolts. See Fig 1. Remove upper EGR tube-to-EGR valve bolts. Loosen EGR valve-to-cylinder head bolts.
- Raise and support vehicle. Remove lower EGR tube-to-exhaust manifold bolts. Lower vehicle. Remove EGR valve-to-cylinder head bolts. Remove EGR valve and tube assembly. Remove lower EGR tube-to-EGR valve bolts.
