WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Dodge Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Intrepid, 2002 Chrysler Concorde, and 2002 Chrysler 300M. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Using an 18-mm X 1.5 + 6E tap, clean oxygen sensor threads on exhaust system. If installing original or used upstream oxygen sensor, apply anti-seize compound on threads of upstream oxygen sensor. A new upstream oxygen sensor should already be coated with anti-seize compound.
  2. Install and tighten upstream oxygen sensor to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install electrical connector.
