Removal & Installation

- EVAP purge solenoid is located in right front corner of engine compartment, near air cleaner. See Fig 1. Disconnect wiring harness connector and vacuum hoses from EVAP purge solenoid. Remove EVAP purge solenoid from mounting bracket.NOTE: Ensure EVAP purge solenoid is installed so the word TOP stamped on top of solenoid is facing upward, or solenoid will not operate.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure EVAP purge solenoid is installed so the word TOP stamped on top of solenoid is facing upward.
