Temperature Gauge Inaccurate (Temperature Gauge Out Of Calibration)

  1. Perform instrument cluster self-test. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER SELF-TEST  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Go to next step.
  2. If temperature gauge pointer moves to all calibration points during calibration test, fault is not with temperature gauge. Go to TEMPERATURE GAUGE INACCURATE (COOLANT SENSOR OUT OF CALIBRATION) . If temperature gauge pointer does not move to all calibration points, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
