Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable and wait at least 2 minutes. Remove left end cover by pulling outward. Tilt steering column down to its lowest position. Remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  .
  2. With the instrument cluster removed, remove the 2 screws attaching the CMTC to the cluster bezel.
  3. Pull hood rearward about 3 inches. Reach through radio opening and disconnect CMTC wire connector. See Fig 1 . Remove cluster hood. Turn cluster hood over and remove 4 screws attaching CMTC to cluster hood. To install, reverse removal procedure.
