Removal (Rear)

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2. Remove rear wheel and tire assembly.
  3. Remove rear caliper. See CALIPER  .
  4. Remove rear rotor. See ROTOR  .
  5. Remove the outboard brake shoe, by prying brake shoe retaining clip over raised area on caliper and sliding the shoe off the caliper. See Fig 1 .
  6. Pull inboard shoe away from piston, until the retaining clip is free from the cavity in the piston. See Fig 2 .
