Removal (Rear)

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Remove rear wheel and tire assemblies.
  3. Remove the 2 caliper assembly-to-adapter guide pin bolts. See Fig 1 .
  4. Remove caliper from adapter. First rotate top of caliper away from adapter. Then lift the caliper off the bottom abutment on the adapter. See Fig 2 .
  5. Support caliper assembly firmly from rear strut to prevent weight of caliper from damaging the flex brake hose. See Fig 3 .
  6. Remove rear rotor. See ROTOR  .
